Feisty Fido (Reactive Rover)

Class Description: Learning to Turn Stress into Calm

When walking on leash, does your dog bark or lunge at people, other dogs, running kids, or strollers and skateboards? Does an approaching jogger, bike, or car cause an over-the-top reaction? These are common challenges for dog owners, and we can help! Feisty Fido shows you how to teach your dog to stay calm when faced with challenging situations. We use only gentle, humane techniques to change your dog’s behavior—techniques from the revolutionary book Click to Calm by Emma Parsons. These training methods are completely safe for everyone involved. We use safety barriers and the help of extra assistants to give all dogs enough space to feel secure. If you think this class would help your dog, contact us so we can advise you on whether it’s right for you. The first class meeting is for people only.
