Class Description: Intro Training or Refresher for Adult Dogs
Perfect for newly adopted adults and dogs who need a refresher course that covers essential family dog skills. Your dog will learn essential commands like sit, down, stay, waiting calmly for food and at the door, watch me/attention, trade and leave it, coming when called, loose lead walking, and how to calmly greet strangers. You’ll learn how to strengthen the bond with your dog, and gain handling and care skills. We’ll also go over the ten Canine Good Citizen exercises. This class is the stepping stone from which you and your dog can move to more advanced training, sports, therapy work, and an almost unlimited range of games and titles. Puppy Kindergarten and Focused Puppy graduates will expand their skills; beginner adults learn the basics.

Who is this class for?
Dogs of all breeds, one year and older at the start of the class. Dogs younger than a year old welcome if they have had previous training.
What prerequisites does this class have?
All dogs must be current on vaccinations before the first class. Please bring your current documentation of your dog’s vaccination records to the first class.
